Throughout Lacey's life, she has always been drawn to birth. As a young child, she wanted to be an OBGYN. Through her young adult years, she changed paths and embarked on her journey of motherhood. She is now a mom of four kids. She had two hospital births with her two oldest kids, one in 2006 and her second child in 2010. In 2015, while pregnant with her third child, she sought out midwifery care in search of something that made her feel she had more autonomy over her pregnancy and birth experience. She birthed her third child at a birth center. This new experience gave her a passion for a physiologic birth. Her fourth child she had in 2023, this birth was in the comfort of her own home. Since this birth, she has gained a love for home birth.  Simultaneously, while she was pregnant with her fourth child, she enrolled in midwifery school.

She passed her NARM examination in March of 2025 and continues to further her education with a plan to continue with her Masters in the fall of 2026. Although Lacey is newer to midwifery, she is not new to birth. She has been a birth photographer for over 20 years. She was trained as a birth doula by the former president of DONA international. Lacey is also currently working on a childbirth education book and launching an all inclusive childbirth education course in person and online. Lacey is excited that she has begun fulfilling her childhood passion to be more involved in the birthing experience. Lacey is dedicated, passionate, and caring. She brings this energy to every birth she attends.
