What makes this class different than other childbirth education courses?
This course is taught by licensed midwives and midwifery students. 

This affordable community-based home birth supportive childbirth education course will allow you to meet in person or online in small group settings. Learn about the midwifery model of care while creating self-boundaries for your birthing experience. We include hospital, home, and birth center information. This learning space will create a space that encourages continued connection with people locally and will leave you feeling supported and confident in yourself for your upcoming birth. This course is evidence-informed, hands-on, and interactive. This class will allow you to build self-confidence, trust, and the knowledge necessary to aid you in your birth process. The teacher will provide you with mental and physical coping tools, address any birth-related fears, and educate you on how to be mentally and physically prepared for labor. Come alone or with a partner, this is an inclusive class for all birthing people! Attending this class will lower the chance of birth intervention and can improve satisfaction with your birth experience.

This class is not intended to replace provider care. The teacher can not give you medical advice or answer specific questions about your pregnancy. Students should not expect a perfect birth or to know every possible birth outcome. Students can only benefit from full participation and home practice.

Basic-Fertility Class

Come learn more about your body and how it works. This is not information that most of us were taught about as kids. Now you have or want kids of your own.
